Fall Season
Games begin in September typically after Labor Day.
Games end approximately the second week in November.
Registration will open July 1st for the Fall Season.
The cost is $60 per player (TBall is $55).
Practices
Coaches will contact players once teams are assembled with practice days and times (mid-August).
Teams will practice 1-2 times per week. The time slots are 5:00-7:00pm or 7:00-9:00pm.
Practices will be on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and/or Saturdays.
Games
Teams play 2 games every other Sunday for a total of 5 Sundays and 10 games. TBall will have one game each week at the Santa Fe fields.
(6U and 8U play one weekend and 10U, 12U and 14U play the next weekend)
Games will rotate each weekend between Dickinson, Galveston, Santa Fe and Texas City complexes.
Rainout games are played on the next weekend (which is the off weekend).
Uniforms
Coaches organize the purchase of uniforms.
This is not included in the registration cost.
Umpire Fees
Teams are responsible for umpire fees during the Fall Ball season. Coaches typically will take the total cost of umpire fees and divide that by the number of players on the team for the weekend.
Example: 6U/8U - $20 a game/2 games per weekend so $40 total ... if there are 10 players on the team then it would cost each player $4 for a
weekend (there are 5 weekends so estimated cost is about $20 total for the season). The more players on a team, the cost is reduced.
10U/12U/14U - $40 a game/2 games per weekend so $80 total ... if there are 10 players on the team then it would cost each player $8 for a
weekend (there are 5 weekends so estimated cost is about $40 total for the season). The more players on a team, the cost is reduced.
Equipment
Players should have a glove and batting helmet with a face guard on it.
TBall-the helmet does not have to have a face guard on it.
Bats are optional but encouraged. Defensive masks are optional.
Cleats are optional; players can play in tennis shoes.
No metal cleats for league play at any complex.
